This Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) forms part of the DeliverGuard Terms of Service.
1. Purpose
This DPA describes how DeliverGuard processes data on behalf of customers using the DeliverGuard platform.
2. Roles
Customer: the restaurant or business using DeliverGuard.
Processor: DeliverGuard, which processes data to provide reconciliation services.
3. Categories of Data
DeliverGuard may process:
- business contact information
- restaurant operational data
- POS transaction records
- delivery platform reports
- financial transaction data
- settlement records
4. Processing Activities
DeliverGuard processes data to:
- normalize transaction data
- reconcile delivery payouts
- detect discrepancies
- generate reporting dashboards
5. Subprocessors
DeliverGuard may use subprocessors including:
- cloud infrastructure providers
- database hosting services
- analytics providers
- AI processing services
- networking and security providers
6. Data Security
DeliverGuard implements technical and organizational security measures including:
- encryption in transit
- infrastructure access controls
- secure hosting environments
7. Data Retention
Raw data may be temporarily stored for processing and removed when no longer necessary.
Processed canonical data may be retained while a customer maintains an active subscription.
8. International Transfers
Data may be processed or stored in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where DeliverGuard infrastructure providers operate.
9. Deletion
Upon account deletion or termination, DeliverGuard will remove customer data within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal obligations.
